How to Draw a Tulip
Drawing a tulip is super easy — it's like a little cup with three round petals on top! Follow these 5 simple steps and you can draw a tulip all by yourself.
Get ready — what you need
Just a pencil, a sheet of paper, and some crayons or colored pencils. That's it!
💡 Tip: Take your time and have fun. Every drawing is special!
Draw a cup shape

Near the top of your paper, draw a shape like a rounded cup or a tulip glass — wider at the top and narrow at the bottom.
💡 Tip: Like an ice-cream scoop holder — round bottom, open top.
Add three petals on top

On top of the cup, draw three bumps for petals — one in the middle standing tall, and one on each side leaning out. Like three round hills.
💡 Tip: Middle petal tallest, side petals a little shorter.
Draw a stem

From the bottom of the cup, draw a long straight line going down for the stem.
💡 Tip: Tulip stems are tall and straight — like a green straw.
Add long leaves

On each side of the stem, draw a long pointy leaf that curves like a slide or a banana.
💡 Tip: Long curvy leaves make tulips look elegant.
Color your tulip!

Color the flower red, pink, purple, or yellow, and the stem and leaves green. All done — you drew a tulip!
💡 Tip: Tulips come in every color — make a whole rainbow row! 🌷
