How to Draw a Crab
Drawing a crab is super easy — a round shell, two big claws, and little legs on the sides! Follow these 5 simple steps and you can draw a crab all by yourself.
Get ready — what you need
Just a pencil, a sheet of paper, and some crayons or colored pencils. That's it!
💡 Tip: Take your time and have fun. Every drawing is special!
Draw a round shell

In the middle of your paper, draw a wide oval — wider than it is tall. This is the crab's shell (its body).
💡 Tip: A wide oval, like a hamburger bun!
Add two big claws

On each side, draw a short arm and a big claw at the end — shaped like a mitten or the letter C that can pinch. One on the left, one on the right.
💡 Tip: The claws open like a mouth — draw a little gap!
Add little legs

Draw three little legs on each side of the shell, below the claws — like little bent lines. Six legs in all!
💡 Tip: Just bent little lines — they don't need to be perfect.
Add a happy face

Draw two small circles on stalks on top of the shell for eyes, with a dot in each. Then a big smile below. So cute!
💡 Tip: Crab eyes sit up high on little stalks — fun!
Color your crab!

Color your crab bright red or orange. All done — you drew a crab! Add some sand and water if you like.
💡 Tip: Red or orange — your crab, your colors! 🦀
