How to Draw an Octopus
Drawing an octopus is super easy — a round head, a few wiggly arms, and two big eyes! Follow these 5 simple steps and you can draw an octopus all by yourself.
Get ready — what you need
Just a pencil, a sheet of paper, and some crayons or colored pencils. That's it!
💡 Tip: Take your time and have fun. Every drawing is special!
Draw a round head

Near the top of your paper, draw a big dome shape — round on top and open at the bottom, like an upside-down U.
💡 Tip: This big round head is the octopus's body too!
Add wiggly arms

From the bottom of the head, draw wiggly arms hanging down like curvy noodles. Draw about five that you can see — curl the ends up!
💡 Tip: Wiggly lines make the arms look like they're swimming!
Add two big eyes

In the middle of the head, draw two big circles for eyes, with a dot inside each one. Big eyes make your octopus look super cute!
💡 Tip: Leave a little white in the eyes to make them sparkle.
Add a smile and dots

Draw a small smile under the eyes. Then draw a few little circles along the arms — those are the octopus's suckers!
💡 Tip: Just a few dots is enough — don't fill every arm!
Color your octopus!

Color your octopus a fun pink or purple. Add some blue water around it. All done — you drew an octopus!
💡 Tip: Octopuses can change color — so yours can be anything! 🐙
