How to Draw a Goldfish
Goldfish are so pretty to draw — start with a round body, add a big flowy tail, a happy face, and some fins! Follow these 5 easy steps and you can draw a goldfish all by yourself.
Get ready — what you need
Just a pencil, a sheet of paper, and some crayons or colored pencils. That's it!
💡 Tip: Take your time and have fun. Every drawing is special!
Draw a round body

In the middle of your paper, draw a fat round shape like an egg. Goldfish have chubby, round bodies — not long and skinny ones.
💡 Tip: A round body is what makes a goldfish look plump and cute!
Add a big flowy tail

On the right side, draw a big flowy tail with two or three soft curvy points, like flowing ribbons. Goldfish have beautiful, fancy tails!
💡 Tip: Make the tail wavy and soft — like it's floating in water!
Draw a happy face

Near the left, draw a big round eye with a shiny dot, and a little round 'O' mouth like it's blowing a bubble. So cute!
💡 Tip: An 'O' shaped mouth makes it look like the fish is blowing bubbles!
Add fins and scales

Draw a fin on top and a little fin under the belly. Then draw a curved line behind the head, and a few tiny 'smile' lines on the body for scales.
💡 Tip: Just a few scale lines is enough — don't fill the whole body!
Color your goldfish!

Color your goldfish bright orange, with a yellow tail and fins. Add some light blue water and a bubble or two. Your goldfish is ready to swim!
💡 Tip: Add a few little bubbles to show it's underwater! 🐠
